Getting Started

Do I need a prescription from my physician?

No. In the state of New Jersey, you do not need a referral to begin therapy.
Just give us a call. If needed, your therapist will reach out to your physician after your first visit to coordinate care, share goals, or obtain necessary documentation.

How do I schedule an appointment?

We are by appointment only - no waiting rooms or open scheduling blocks.
We offer a wide range of appointment times throughout the week to fit your needs, including mornings, evenings, and some weekends.

What areas do you serve?

We currently serve clients throughout Monmouth & Ocean Counties, NJ - including in-home, gyms, hotels, and private communities. Not sure if you're in our zone? Just ask.

We also serve clients virtually in NY & abroad.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?

Yes - We accept Medicare Part B (Original Medicare).
We are in-network with Medicare Part B and provide documentation for clients to submit to their secondary or out-of-network plans.

We do not accept commercial insurance plans, which allows us to deliver a higher level of care without restrictions on frequency, duration, or visit length.

Can I still work with you if I don’t have Medicare?

Absolutely. Many of our clients choose to self-pay and receive private concierge care. We provide superbills upon request and work with a third-party service to assist with reimbursement. Please ask us about your options.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept: Credit Cards & AHC

How We Deliver Care

Do I need to be “homebound” to receive therapy from you?

No. That rule only applies to Medicare Part A home health.
We bill Medicare Part B - which means you can still go to work, drive, or be active in your community and still qualify for in-home care through Propel.

Think of us as a mobile outpatient clinic - we make house calls, not because you’re homebound, but because it's more effective, private, and convenient.

Do I need equipment or access to a gym?

Nope. We bring it all.
Each therapist travels with a fully stocked setup - including a massage/treatment table, weights, resistance bands, balance equipment, physio balls, portable bikes, and more. While a gym setting can enhance certain visits, it is not required.

Where do visits take place?

Wherever you are. We treat clients in:

  • Homes & apartments

  • Private gyms or fitness studios

  • Hotels or Airbnbs

  • Gated communities

  • Offices & boardrooms

What Makes Propel Different

Isn’t it better if I go to a “real” clinic?

We bring the clinic to you - and more.
Unlike traditional outpatient settings, you’ll never share your therapist’s attention, never be rushed through a visit, and never get a generic plan.

We bring massage tables, weights, balance gear, tech, and a deep level of personalization and connection. Plus, you avoid crowded gyms and unnecessary exposure to illness.

What types of clients do you work with?

We specialize in working with:

  • Joint replacement & post-surgical recovery

  • Neurological conditions like Parkinson’s, stroke, and MS

  • Fall prevention and aging adults

  • High-functioning professionals seeking elite concierge rehab

  • Clients transitioning from subacute or inpatient care

  • Caregivers and family members looking for support

Do you offer Rock Steady Boxing or other wellness programs?

Yes! Propel Life is our wellness & longevity division.
We offer:

  • Group and private Rock Steady Boxing

  • Post-rehab maintenance and recovery services

  • Membership options for ongoing wellness
